The relationship ensures that there is continuous availability of steel from producer and orders from end users in spite of the fluctuation in the market in terms of prices, supply & demand, which sometimes forces both producer and user to adopt short term high gain measures.
With a modest beginning in the year 1973 as a trading enterprises in flat & long steel products, we as GARG STEEL TRADERS in Jamshedpur stepped in steel trading and has made tremendous strides in their sphere of business operations i.e supply of various flat steel products in assorted dimensions and grades.
Over last few decades, we have built up long term relations with some of the world class steel mills such as TATA Steel, SAIL, JSW, AM/NS India (formerly ESSAR Steel) and POSCO to provide you cost effective alternates and also acquired the necessary technical expertise to assist you in making the right choice to suit your need.
We possess required knowledge & the capability to interpret the needs of both buyers & sellers. We also possess adequate infrastructure & techno commercial expertise to finalize orders quickly and arrange timely delivery. Our journey
- 1973 – The Garg family establishes Garg Steel Traders in Jamshedpur.
- 1985 – 2000 – Tata Steel distributor and a first grade dealer of the Bokaro Steel Plant.
- 1995 – Mr. Surendra Garg expands operations to Delhi as Garg Steel Enterprises, Loha Mandi, Naraina.
- 2010 – The business is incorporated as MRP Enterprises Private Limited; Garg Steel Enterprises continues as its sister concern.
- 2015 – 2020 – CR & GP distributor for Essar Hypermart.
- 2018 – 2025 – Sales channel partner for POSCO.
- 2023 – 24 – CR distributor for AM/NS India.
Throughout, we have supported the growth of new brands by leveraging our strong understanding of the Delhi NCR industrial market.
Leadership
The business is led by Mr. Surendra Garg, who brings over 36 years of industry experience and has built the company on the principles of integrity, long-term relationships and customer-first service.
Joining the next generation, Mr. Raunak Garg brings international sales experience and is driving the company's digital transformation through structured customer management, process improvements and technology adoption.
